Join us as the library welcomes Danza Azteca Tepeyolotl Chalchiuhtlicue!

Danza Azteca Tepeyolotl Chalchiuhtlicue is an Indigenous family group whose members have cultivated and shared knowledge with communities for over twenty years. As part of this cultivation, the group has worked with well-established groups nationally and internationally and played a significant role in planting the seeds of flourishing Aztec dance groups in Houston, Texas. Each one of our songs and dance carries knowledge of stories related to life experiences, elements of mother earth, and our peoples’ legends.
