Program Description

Event Details

Join a community of enthusiasts for an informal weekly gathering dedicated to the craft of tatting. This traditional crafting technique uses a series of knots and loops to create durable, intricate designs such as lace, doilies, decorative items, jewelry, and more.

An experienced tatter will lead the group, offering guidance and introductory instruction for those who are new to the craft or looking to refine their technique. Participants are encouraged to bring their own thread and patterns to work on. For those who do not have their own equipment, the library has tatting shuttles available for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis.

All skill levels are welcome to drop in, share their progress, and enjoy the company of others who appreciate this versatile craft.
