Event Details
Learn to create your own cozy lap quilt!
Join us for a 4-week quilting adventure where you'll learn the basics of quilting and create your own unique lap quilt. All supplies are provided by the library.
What you'll learn:
- Basic quilting techniques
- Fabric selection and cutting
- Piecing quilt blocks
- Adding embroidery to your quilt (optional)
- Basting, pinning and quilting
- Binding your quilt
Some sewing experience is recommended but not required. This is a guided workshop, but participants who need more hands on help may request extra sessions with the tools/machines.
Feel free to bring any material you would like to add to your quilt to personalize it.
