Program Description
Event Details
Join our makerspace program and learn to create stylish fabric bookmarks using our sewing machines! We'll guide you through the basics of machine sewing as you design and stitch your own unique bookmark. Choose from a selection of colorful fabrics and threads to craft a bookmark that reflects your individual style. This hands-on activity is a fun way to get acquainted with sewing machines and create a practical item. No prior machine sewing experience is required – our staff will be there to help. This program is for ages 8+.

Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines will be enforced for all active participants.
Photo Permission / Opt-Out
Library staff may snap some pictures during public library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, please email reservations@tpml.org.
Registration Procedures
Registration is required for this event. If you register and can no longer attend, please cancel your registration at least 24 hours in advance to provide notice for someone coming off the waitlist. We encourage registrants to arrive 5-10 minutes early to park and get settled. If there are no shows once the event starts, other patrons such as those on the waitlist or on "stand-by" will be offered any free seats.
